About

Built by someone who actually lives this life.

That's Jesse, Becky, and Vera at the Grand Canyon — three of the reasons Sea Change RV exists. Jesse is a mobile RV repair technician based in North County San Diego, a lifelong camper, and the person who built his first solar project in 4th grade. The business grew out of a real problem: finding reliable, timely RV repair is genuinely hard. So he started doing it himself, fell in love with it, and decided other families deserved the same.

The story

Always camping. Always fixing something.

Jesse grew up in tents, in RVs, and anywhere else that meant being outside. That never changed — now he, his wife Becky, and their daughter Vera do the same thing. The trips look a little different (Goldie has a bathroom now), but the spirit is identical.

He's always been the person who fixes things. Not because he had to — because he likes to. The 4th grade solar project was just the beginning. RV electrical systems, solar installs, and off-grid setups are where that curiosity found a real home.

Sea Change RV started because RV repair is genuinely hard to find when you need it. Jesse kept running into the problem himself, started doing his own work, and realized there was something deeply satisfying about getting a family's rig ready for their next adventure. So he made it a business.

Meet Goldie

A 1991 Class C with a lot of miles and a few opinions.

Goldie is a 1991 Class C motorhome and a full member of the family. She's been to Yellowstone, White Sands, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and more western National Parks than most people get to in a lifetime. She's also broken down at inconvenient moments, needed parts that no longer exist, and generally taught Jesse everything he knows about keeping an old RV on the road.

Working on your own RV is a completely different kind of education. You learn what actually matters, what breaks first, what holds up, and what the manuals don't tell you. That's the knowledge Sea Change RV brings to every job.

The whole point

This is what reliable looks like.

Jesse, Becky, and Vera at White Sands. That's why any of this matters — the repair, the upgrade, the troubleshooting at 10pm before a long drive. All of it is in service of moments like this one.

Every job Sea Change RV takes on is really about helping someone else have their version of this trip.

Yosemite

Hard to argue with Half Dome at sunrise and a campfire in the valley.

There is nothing like it. The photo above says everything.

Why "Sea Change"

No matter where you are, you can completely change the direction you're heading.

That's the idea behind the name. A sea change isn't a small adjustment — it's a full shift in course. And in Jesse's experience, those decisions almost always happen when you step away from the noise, give yourself space to think, and spend time with the people who matter most. That's what an RV trip does. That's what this business is really about.

01

Personal

You're working directly with Jesse, not getting passed through a service department. He picks up the phone.

02

Calm

RV problems are stressful. The experience here is designed to reduce that — clear diagnosis, honest options, no pressure.

04

Adventure-oriented

The destination is the whole point. Every fix is really about getting you back to the places and people that matter.
